This may sound crazy I find those Sundblom Santas scary — they’re just a little too round, red-cheeked and jolly. They’ve got some secret agenda that frightens me. And that little fellow with the Coke cap on his head looks positively demonic. The popping eyes, that forced smile! I’m shivering and not because of cold winter weather. Even the reindeer look like they want to flee.
Santa is always scary — because he knows if you’ve been bad or good, and you never know how he’ll use the information.
The problem is when you don’t know if SANTA is bad or good. 🙂
