I like the word “Holiday”!
It is so much less generic, and certainly more resonant with
childhood associations, than the current “Christmas”.
Holiday Nog does have a delightful ring to it, though.
I would like to try nog, though I would miss the egg. (Like a chocolate cream as opposed to an egg one.) It would be fun to say, “I’ll have a nog, please.” Originally, it meant a strong ale, so that could be festive.
