In maybe 1971, inspired by Hemingway’s “Death in the Afternoon,” I went to Seville for the April feria and saw at least one splendid bullfight. After the season proper, there were “comic bullfights with dwarfs, for the children.” Spain is beyond me, even though I returned there to live in 1983, unable to resist its deep mystery, hoping to catch on, but it still beats the hell out of me. I never heard of this film but found a clip online. I’m still in the dark, thanks! http://www.theguardian.com/film/video/2013/jul/11/blancanieves-bullfighting-snow-white-video
The film is an interesting attempt to make a modern-day silent movie — has a lot of beautiful images in it.
