I saw this. Didn’t it feature Harry the rabbit, who slid down a banister? One of my friends and I thought that Jerry Lewis movies were the acme of comedy.
I don’t remember the rabbit, but I’m a great admirer of Lewis, myself — strange, extremely funny at times, and kind of brilliant.
I also recall that an enormous Japanese person — looked like a sumo wrestler — jumped into a swimming pool in pursuit of Lewis, and the impact splashed out all of the water.
That would be a characteristic gag for director Frank Tashlin, who started out making cartoons.
